Business Analytics
Based on a holistic analysis of the company and the market, we create a list of recommendations to improve the achievement of the company's goals. We typically proceed as follows:
Inventory: here we collect as much detailed information as possible about the company and the market. This includes information such as financial figures, organization, processes, product portfolio, market size, competition and much more. Ideally, we receive this information directly from our customer in electronic form. However, we will also conduct internet research (how is the company/product viewed from the outside) and speak directly to employees and/or end customers.
Goal formulation: in goal formulation, we try to define the strategic direction together with our customer (example: the goal is to sell the company in xy years. Or the goal is to achieve growth of xy within a defined financial framework...).
Analysis: the majority of the work goes into analyzing the information. Here, different scenarios are examined and tested. Of course, this happens in regular exchange with the customer.
Recommendations: The result of the analysis is a set of recommendations for the customer. This is typically explained and discussed in a one- or multi-day workshop
Board / interim Management
Taking on board mandates (ideally in Switzerland, and ideally in the technology industry)
Taking on ad-interim management or CxO roles
M&A /
Investment
We offer special support here. We do not replace the classic M&A advisor, but support the customer in their collaboration with the M&A advisor. A company sale or a financing round must be well prepared. As a company owner, you often have this experience for the first time and are literally "overwhelmed" by the M&A advisor. At the same time, day-to-day business must continue. Our role here is to provide support and neutral advice throughout the entire process. We can also take on many parts of the collaboration with the M&A advisor.
Another component of our consulting work is advice on the integration of an acquired company. A lot of energy (and money) is often invested in the purchase of a company and the effort required for the subsequent integration is often underestimated or left to chance. An acquisition is not completed with the purchase of the shares, but only when the acquired company has been integrated into the new family in accordance with an integration strategy.
